The MiTAC GFX server system has been developed to meet the differing workloads associated with today’s IT environment; combining higher densities and lower power into a platform that can deliver expandability, scalability, serviceability and management, the GFX system delivers a viable TCO option for large and small scale private or public cloud deployments.
Built around the ARMv7 quad core server grade SoC technology from Marvell and with Canonical’s Ubuntu 12.04LTS at its heart, the MiTAC GFX with ASX-1 module is intended for deployment as a general purpose server where real estate, efficiency and throughput at a realistic price are key factors. Typical applications: Web hosting, web browsing, email, chat, social media and networking, etc.
