The MiTAC Aowanda edge server series feature improved slim design for the central unit (CU) and distributed unit (DU) of 5G virtual radio access network (vRAN) and multi-access edge computing (MEC).

The edge server with 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors provides advanced security capabilities, reliable high availability and is ideal for the most demanding workload requirements. Its centralized power supply and server node management designs can enhance power efficiency and simplify cable management, and is the best choice for telco infrastructure deployment. The AD211 provides alternative options with a full-height PCIe Gen.4 slot, OCP 3.0 Gen.4 x16 NIC mezzanine and two E1.S SSDs or dual PCIe Gen.4 slots for each node. The system is easy to be deployed onto diverse edge datacenter or central office with support for AC power input or -48VDC power input.
